Minneapolis Craft Market joins the Holidays on Nicollet festivities to host a retail popup experience on the Southwest street level corner of the IDS Center (formerly Hubert White Menswear) with a curated selection of local artists and makers this holiday season. Holidays on Nicollet will feature a weeks-long downtown experience from Black Friday through December 30 that includes artist-designed holiday window displays, entertainment programming, and retail experiences offering visitors a vibrant, festive downtown holiday experience along Nicollet Mall.

Store location: IDS center, 747 Nicollet Mall (former Hubert White Menswear store)

Retail hours: November 24 (Black Friday) through January 5. Tues - Sat 11AM - 6PM - hours of operation subject to change

Vendor information:

  • This is a competitive vendor selection process, submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

  • Vendor acceptance notifications will be sent by November 1.

  • Terms - 30% of sales. There is no upfront cost or booth fee due, just a percentage of your sales.

  • POS is managed centrally by Holidays on Nicollet and vendors will receive a payout of 70% of their sales and sales report twice; once mid-way through the project and once at the end.

  • Staffing is managed centrally by Holidays on Nicollet. Vendors do not need to staff the space, though they are encouraged to visit and be available if possible to connect with customers in the space. There is more opportunity to sell if you can visit occasionally to promote your products.

  • Vendors are responsible for merchandising and all display fixtures (tables, shelving, hangers etc). 

  • Vendor spaces will be assigned by Holidays on Nicollet based on products and space needs. We will work with you to make your space inviting and consistent with the rest of the store.

  • Vendors are responsible for their own branding and signage. Please note, there will be no vinyl banners, table cloths or folding plastic tables allowed in the store space. We encourage you to creatively merchandise and fill your space with plenty of inventory.

  • Vendors will provide Holidays on Nicollet with an inventory list and are responsible for replenishing their stock throughout the season. 

  • Holidays on Nicollet will provide an inventory template that vendors must use to submit their inventory list. All merchandise must be tagged with a sku number that is listed on the template. 

  • On site storage is available for vendor use. More details will follow about when and how to replenish stock. Vendors are responsible for clearing all boxes after replenishing.

  • Holidays on Nicollet staff will provide guidance on merchandising and display of your products, the more attractive you make your space, the more sales you will make.

  • Fitting rooms are available for customers to try on apparel items.

  • Inventory replenishment is not allowed during business hours. Carts, etc, are not allowed in the store during business hours.

  • Vendors must provide a Certificate of insurance and W9 for sales payouts by November 15 listing Minnneapolis Craft Market and Minneapolis Downtown Council as additional insured.

  • Holidays on Nicollet will provide bags at checkout. Vendors are responsible for any other packaging that should be with your product and ensuring everything is tagged with your brand name. 

  • Holidays on Nicollet will provide shopping baskets for customer use.
